CAMPAIGN
Ma.S.A.M believes that each of us - concerned citizen of Malaysia; irrespective of race, colour and religion or where we are - must play our role to stop the injustice and corruption perpetrated by the ruling elite. We believe everyone must exercise his duty to reinstate an ethical, just and progressive government in Malaysia.
For that reason, we have taken up the challenge to start a 'psyche war' against the BN coalition on the Internet to get every citizen of Malaysia with an access to the Internet involved in fighting the crime of the BN government. This is our turf - where they cannot mount water canons against us nor beat us for simply voicing our dissents. This is ultimately the new front where battles against this regime are going to be fought.
Why bother with this?
- The
struggle to reform the country is a massive and long struggle which has
to be carried out by all sections of the society on different fronts - political
front as led by BA, underground media led by Reformasi websites, international
campaign led by International Free Anwar Campaign etc.
BN has 'compartmentalised' all its opponents and dealt with it separately. This way, it is easier to defeat them. But history tells us that a war fought on too many fronts will be unsustainable - let alone if you are attacked from all sides simultaneously. This is the Hitler's lesson in World War II - and BN lacks historical understanding more than any other government in this world!
As such, we reformists must seize this opportunity to attack the BN government on this turf with unrelentless and continuous campaign to evoke people's awareness of this issue. Eventually, we will also form perhaps the largest lobby groups working all over the world to reinstate democracy and integrity in our government by lobbying the international community.
- Ma.S.A.M intends to start a major shift in people's attitude towards threat and intimidation from the authority - we want to send the message that whilst we are risk-averse people, we also know how to work around the system to propagate reformasi messages to our fellow Malaysians and the international community. We want people to realise that they are OTHER ways that they can contribute anonymously if they cannot join the protests - they can become our 'web protesters' or 'lobbyists'. This way, everyone will play our own role and we would be able to eradicate this feeling of 'helplessness' each time we want to contribute to reformasi.
Starting October, each month marks the launching of a new campaign - a new battle - and we hope this will gather momentum as more and more people take up our call to join this 'web protesters' community. One Person One Lobby (British MPs) - Write to Rt. Hon. Tony Blair and his parliamentary colleagues to highlight our struggle to uphold a credible and clean government in Malaysia. The proforma letters and addresses have all been provided - just click a few buttons and voila - you have helped the reformasi cause more than you can imagine.

Name and Shame Campaign - They are agents of repression. They are puppets of the corrupt regime to monitor our activities. They pose a major threat to our freedom and well-being. They are around us, and they must be exposed. Join our effort to expose those around us who put us under surveillance and restrict our freedom.

One Person One Letter to Anwar - Write to Anwar Ibrahim expressing your support. Your letter will be passed to him and one day will be compiled as a monumental evidence how justice and truth will prevail over cruelty and tyranny.
